Position Overview

A fast-growing financial technology environment in Estonia is seeking a highly capable Fintech Platform Specialist to support the development, optimisation, and day-to-day performance of digital financial platforms. The position is suited to a technology-minded professional who understands how modern financial products operate across digital payments, account services, transaction processing, and customer-facing platforms.

The successful candidate will work closely with product, engineering, operations, compliance, and financial-services teams to ensure that platform capabilities remain reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with evolving customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of fintech platforms and digital financial services.
• Monitor platform performance, transaction workflows, service availability, and operational issues.
• Analyse functional requirements and translate them into practical platform improvements.
• Assist with the implementation of new financial products, payment features, and digital account services.
• Investigate platform incidents and coordinate technical or operational resolution.
• Work with developers and product teams during testing, deployment, and feature releases.
• Review transaction processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate technical and operational documentation.
• Support user acceptance testing and validate new platform functionality.
• Contribute to security, data-protection, and regulatory requirements applicable to financial technology.
• Analyse recurring issues and recommend sustainable process improvements.

Candidate Profile

• Degree or equivalent professional background in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with fintech, banking technology, payments, SaaS, or another technology-driven financial environment.
• Good understanding of digital financial products and transaction workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Comfortable working with technical documentation, data, dashboards, and platform-management tools.
• Familiarity with APIs, payment integrations, databases, or cloud-based systems is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and operational discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
