Role Summary

The Fintech Financial Systems Administrator will manage and support the operational administration of financial applications and related business systems. The role involves maintaining user access, coordinating system updates, monitoring application performance, resolving routine system issues, and ensuring that financial teams can use their technology tools effectively.

The successful candidate will work closely with finance, IT, compliance, and operations teams to maintain system reliability and support the accurate flow of financial information. This position requires a combination of technical understanding, administrative discipline, and knowledge of financial business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain financial applications used for accounting, reporting, transaction management, and operational processing.

• Manage user accounts, system permissions, access requests, and role-based configurations in accordance with internal procedures.

• Monitor financial system availability and identify operational issues affecting business users.

• Coordinate system configuration changes, updates, and routine maintenance activities.

• Investigate application errors and work with technical teams or software vendors to resolve complex issues.

• Support the integration and synchronization of financial information across connected business systems.

• Maintain system documentation, user guides, configuration records, and operational procedures.

• Assist with user acceptance testing before new financial system features or updates are introduced.

• Support finance teams with system-related questions and routine application troubleshooting.

• Monitor data accuracy and report inconsistencies identified within financial applications.

• Coordinate system access reviews and support internal control requirements.

• Identify opportunities to improve system usability, administrative efficiency, and operational reliability.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Experience in financial systems administration, application support, IT operations, or enterprise software administration.

• Understanding of financial applications, accounting workflows, and business system environments.

• Familiarity with user administration, access controls, and system configuration.

• Knowledge of ERP platforms, accounting applications, or financial management systems.

• Basic understanding of databases, system integrations, and application troubleshooting.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to investigate system issues and coordinate effective resolutions.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to support non-technical users.

• Strong attention to detail and awareness of information security practices.

• Experience in fintech, banking, accounting technology, or digital financial services is an advantage.
