An innovative fintech environment in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Data Quality Analyst to ensure that the information powering financial products and operational decisions remains accurate, consistent, complete, and reliable.

You will work across financial datasets, transaction records, reporting systems, and operational platforms, helping identify data-quality issues and improve the processes that prevent them.

Core Responsibilities

• Monitor data quality across financial and operational systems.
• Identify incomplete, inconsistent, duplicated, or inaccurate financial records.
• Analyse transaction and customer datasets to identify unusual data patterns.
• Develop data-quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes.
• Investigate discrepancies between internal systems and external financial platforms.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to resolve underlying data issues.
• Support reconciliation activities across transaction and financial datasets.
• Produce data-quality reports and operational dashboards.
• Document data definitions, validation procedures, and remediation processes.
• Assist with the implementation of automated data-quality controls.
• Participate in system migrations, integrations, and data-validation exercises.
• Recommend improvements to processes that affect financial data accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in data analysis, fintech, banking, payments, financial operations, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong SQL and data-analysis capabilities.
• Experience working with structured financial or transactional datasets.
• Understanding of data-quality principles, reconciliation, and validation.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, spreadsheets, BI tools, or data pipelines.
• Strong attention to detail and investigative ability.
• Ability to translate complex data issues into clear explanations.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
