Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fintech Accounting Manager to oversee financial accounting activities within a technology-driven financial services environment.

The role combines financial reporting, accounting controls, reconciliations, month-end management, and collaboration with finance, treasury, operations, and technology teams. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge together with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving fintech organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and financial close activities.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules.
• Oversee bank, payment, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
• Review transaction records and investigate accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate general-ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Establish and monitor accounting controls and financial procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisers, banks, and professional service providers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with treasury and payment operations teams on settlement-related accounting.
• Improve accounting workflows through automation and technology.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including management-level responsibility.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, financial services, or technology is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting controls.
• Excellent Excel and financial-analysis capabilities.
• Experience with accounting software and financial-management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Professional English; knowledge of Estonian or another European language is advantageous.
