We are seeking a highly analytical and commercially aware Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, and financial performance management.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and finance teams to ensure the integrity of financial information, strengthen financial controls, and provide accurate insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

The Role

As Financial Controller, you will take responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting while supporting effective financial governance across the organization.

You will oversee accounting processes, review financial results, monitor budgets, and work with relevant stakeholders to identify financial risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Review financial statements and accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial performance.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Analyze financial variances and provide management with actionable insights.
• Support external audits and ensure appropriate financial documentation is maintained.
• Develop financial reports and management presentations.
• Monitor compliance with applicable accounting policies and organizational procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and reporting processes.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial judgment, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail, combined with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent is desirable.
• Previous experience in financial control, accounting, audit, or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with accounting or enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous.
