Position Overview

The Engineer will ensure the quality, reliability, and technical integrity of software supporting digital financial services. The role focuses on automated testing, quality engineering, software validation, performance testing, and reliability across applications that process sensitive financial information and transactions.

The successful candidate will work closely with developers, architects, product managers, cybersecurity specialists, and operations teams to identify defects early and establish robust quality standards throughout the software-development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive software-quality strategies for fintech applications.
• Develop automated testing frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend systems.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, performance, and reliability testing.
• Validate critical financial workflows and transaction-processing processes.
• Develop automated test suites for APIs and microservices.
• Identify software defects and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Conduct performance testing under high transaction and user volumes.
• Establish quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Test integrations with banking, payment, identity, and financial-data systems.
• Develop test data and validation procedures for complex financial scenarios.
• Monitor production quality and investigate recurring software issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on security testing activities.
• Document test cases, results, defects, quality metrics, and release assessments.
• Improve testing efficiency through automation and intelligent tooling.
• Support release-management and production-deployment processes.
