Role Summary

The Electronic FX Trading Systems Specialist will support the configuration, monitoring and technical performance of systems used for electronic foreign exchange trading. The role bridges trading operations and technology, ensuring that pricing feeds, order routing, execution workflows and related platform services operate reliably.

The successful candidate will investigate system issues, support platform testing and coordinate with engineering and external technology providers to improve trading system stability and execution consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the operational health of electronic FX trading platforms and related market connectivity services.

• Support configuration and maintenance of order management, execution and market data systems.

• Investigate pricing feed interruptions, order routing failures and connectivity-related trading issues.

• Coordinate with software engineering and infrastructure teams to resolve technical incidents.

• Assist with platform upgrades, configuration changes, release testing and production validation.

• Verify that electronic order workflows and execution records operate according to documented requirements.

• Review system logs and monitoring data to identify recurring failures or performance degradation.

• Support integration testing between trading platforms, liquidity providers and internal applications.

• Maintain technical procedures, incident records and platform configuration documentation.

• Contribute to resilience testing, operational controls and continuous improvement of trading technology.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Financial Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least three years of experience supporting trading systems, financial market applications or technology platforms.

• Understanding of electronic FX trading workflows, market data feeds and order execution.

• Familiarity with APIs, networking, Linux environments and system monitoring tools.

• Knowledge of FIX protocol or similar financial messaging standards is an advantage.

• Experience with incident management, release testing and technical troubleshooting.

• Ability to communicate effectively with traders, engineers and external technology providers.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem resolution.
