Role Summary

The Digital Banking Implementation Consultant will coordinate and support the implementation of digital banking platforms and financial technology solutions. The role involves gathering business requirements, evaluating existing operational processes, configuring technology solutions, and coordinating implementation activities across technical and business teams.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, product specialists, engineers, and financial operations teams to ensure that digital banking implementations meet functional requirements and deliver measurable operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of digital banking platforms, financial applications, and technology-enabled banking services.

• Gather and document business requirements from internal stakeholders and external financial service partners.

• Analyse existing banking workflows and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements.

• Translate operational requirements into functional specifications for software development and configuration teams.

• Support the integration of digital banking applications with payment systems, banking infrastructure, and third-party services.

• Coordinate implementation schedules, project milestones, testing activities, and deployment readiness.

• Conduct functional reviews to ensure implemented solutions meet agreed business and operational requirements.

• Support user acceptance testing and coordinate the resolution of identified implementation issues.

• Prepare implementation documentation, configuration records, workflow diagrams, and operational guidelines.

• Work with compliance and risk teams to ensure that implemented solutions reflect relevant financial services requirements.

• Provide technical and operational guidance to stakeholders during implementation activities.

• Monitor newly deployed solutions and coordinate post-implementation improvements.

• Identify implementation risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.

• Maintain communication between engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in digital banking implementation, fintech consulting, financial systems, or technology project delivery.

• Understanding of digital banking platforms, payment infrastructure, and financial service workflows.

• Experience gathering business requirements and preparing functional documentation.

• Familiarity with API integrations and third-party financial technology systems.

• Knowledge of implementation methodologies, project coordination, and user acceptance testing.

• Understanding of banking operations, digital account services, and payment processing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Ability to manage implementation activities across geographically distributed teams.

• Professional proficiency in English.
