Role Summary

The Digital Banking Implementation Consultant will oversee the implementation and configuration of digital banking solutions for financial institutions and business clients. The role involves understanding client requirements, coordinating technical implementation activities, supporting platform configuration, and ensuring that new banking solutions are successfully integrated into existing operational environments.

The successful candidate will serve as an important link between clients, product teams, software engineers, and technical support specialists. This position requires a combination of financial technology knowledge, implementation experience, project coordination, and strong client communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of digital banking platforms and financial technology solutions for new and existing clients.

• Gather business and technical requirements from clients and translate them into practical implementation plans.

• Support the configuration of digital banking features, including account management, payment services, user permissions, and transaction workflows.

• Coordinate integration activities involving banking APIs, payment gateways, and external financial service providers.

• Work with engineering teams to investigate technical challenges encountered during implementation.

• Develop implementation schedules, project documentation, configuration records, and delivery reports.

• Conduct platform demonstrations and explain system functionality to client representatives.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing and verify that configured solutions meet agreed business requirements.

• Monitor implementation progress and communicate project risks, dependencies, and outstanding activities.

• Support client onboarding by ensuring that operational procedures and technical documentation are properly established.

• Assist with post-implementation reviews and coordinate the resolution of outstanding technical or operational issues.

• Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and strengthen the overall client experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience in fintech implementation, digital banking, financial systems, or technology consulting.

• Understanding of digital banking operations, account management, payment processing, and financial transaction workflows.

• Familiarity with API integrations, system configuration, and third-party financial technology platforms.

• Experience coordinating technology projects or client implementation activities.

• Ability to document business requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.

• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Good problem-solving and organisational abilities.

• Familiarity with Agile project delivery and implementation management tools is an advantage.

• Ability to manage multiple implementation activities and meet project deadlines.

• Comfortable working independently and collaborating with international teams remotely.
