Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Data Engineer to build and maintain the data infrastructure powering analytics, financial intelligence, customer insights, and operational decision-making.

The successful candidate will design scalable data pipelines and platforms capable of processing high-volume financial and transactional information while maintaining reliability, data quality, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build reliable infrastructure for processing transactional, customer, operational, and financial datasets.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.
• Establish data-quality monitoring and validation frameworks.
• Optimise data-processing workflows for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, Engineers, Product Managers, and business stakeholders.
• Develop data models supporting financial reporting, analytics, forecasting, and machine-learning applications.
• Implement appropriate data governance, access controls, and security practices.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and resolve data integrity issues.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Document data structures, pipelines, integrations, and technical processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, data warehouses, APIs, and distributed processing technologies.
• Understanding of data governance, quality, security, and lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
