Your influential mission. You will..

• Build and maintain BigQuery tables in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Develop & make changes to Apache Airflow pipelines.

• Prepare SQL logic for transformations and reporting tables.

• Validate query results and fix inconsistencies.

• Perform Data Quality Checks.

• Write clear descriptions of tables, DAGs, SQL logic, and data flows.

• Participate in team discussions, demos, and retros.

• Work closely with reporting developers, analysts, and other engineers.

• Ask clarifying questions and share updates on progress.

• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices.

Components for success. You…

• Have or are studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to Data Engineering

• Understand database fundamentals: general principles of designing database tables and data transformations.

• Are comfortable creating and modifying tables, views, and simple analytical queries.

• Are familiar with DDL and DML.

• Can write clean, efficient SQL queries (joins, filters, aggregates).

• Can write small scripts for data transformations and automation in Python.
