Description
About the role
You won’t be implementing someone else’s framework — you’ll be defining the methodology and building measurement infrastructure and self-serve tooling that scale across 50+ markets. You’ll partner closely with the Director of LCM, vertical Heads, and technical teams across Data Platform, Analytics Engineering, and Martech Engineering as the leading and owning individual contributor for this framework.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Design, validate, and maintain advanced marketing measurement methodologies for the LCM domain, including experimentation, econometric modelling, and causal inference. As well as owning the roadmap and development of our personalisation engine in marketing.
- Build the measurement infrastructure, not just the analysis: incrementality frameworks, experimentation infrastructure, and self-serve tools that marketers and analysts use directly.
- Serve as the technical and methodological lead in your domain — mentoring analysts, elevating analytical standards, and evangelising best practices in measurement and experimentation across Marketing.
- Orchestrate the domain testing roadmap, turning holdout and experiment findings into documented actions, automated processes, and models that guide marketing strategy.
- Partner with Data Platform, Analytics Engineering, and Martech Engineering to build high-integrity data pipelines, reporting solutions, and uniform data standards across all markets.
- Engage senior stakeholders, from the Director of LCM to vertical Heads, to align on goals and convert complex modelling outputs into clear, business-ready recommendations.
About you
- You have a PhD or MSc in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Econometrics).
- You have strong hands-on skills in SQL and Python, and experience mentoring analysts and leading cross-functional analytical projects. Experience in recommender systems and personalisation algorithms is preferred but not necessary.
- You practise causal inference hands-on, not just in concept, with solid experience in experimentation, econometric modelling, and incrementality measurement across large data sets (>10 mil. data points)
- You bring statistical rigour under real-world constraints: power analysis, sample size reasoning, and knowing when good enough is good enough.
- You have an operationalisation instinct — a track record of shipping models and tools that get adopted and used, not just delivered.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and English fluency; experience with multi-sided marketplace data is a bonus.
Why you’ll love it here
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as we succeed, so do you.
- Take care of your physical and mental health with our wellness perks.
- Celebrate 5 years with a 1-month paid sabbatical to recharge.
- Connect with colleagues at annual company events and smaller team gatherings.
- Balance flexibility and in-person collaboration with our hybrid model, including at least 12 monthly in-office days.
