Role Overview
The Crypto Risk Analyst will analyze digital-asset transactions, market activity, wallet behavior, and platform exposure to identify financial and operational risks. The role combines quantitative analysis, blockchain intelligence, risk assessment, and technology-enabled monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze cryptocurrency transaction activity and wallet behavior.
• Identify unusual transaction patterns and potential sources of financial exposure.
• Monitor market, liquidity, counterparty, operational, and transaction-related risks.
• Develop analytical reports and dashboards for digital-asset risk management.
• Conduct wallet and transaction analysis using blockchain data.
• Support the development of risk-scoring methodologies and monitoring thresholds.
• Investigate anomalies and escalate material risk indicators.
• Evaluate potential exposure arising from digital-asset markets and counterparties.
• Perform scenario analysis and stress-testing exercises.
• Collaborate with fraud, cybersecurity, compliance, treasury, and technology teams.
• Monitor emerging risks within blockchain and digital-asset ecosystems.
• Recommend improvements to risk controls, monitoring systems, and escalation procedures.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in financial risk, fintech, crypto, payments, banking, or quantitative analysis.
• Strong analytical and numerical capabilities.
• Knowledge of blockchain transactions, wallets, exchanges, and digital-asset markets.
• Strong Excel and SQL skills; Python or other analytical programming experience is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and investigative ability.
