Position Overview

The Consultant will advise financial-technology organizations on strategic growth, operating-model transformation, technology modernization, and the development of new digital financial services.

The role requires an understanding of the full fintech ecosystem and the ability to connect business strategy, technology, financial services, customer experience, data, operations, and innovation. The successful candidate will work on complex transformation programs and develop practical strategies for improving competitiveness and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for fintech and digital-financial transformation programs.
• Assess existing financial products, technology platforms, and operating models.
• Identify opportunities for automation, modernization, and process optimization.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis across Estonia and European financial markets.
• Evaluate new fintech business models and emerging technologies.
• Develop business cases for digital financial products and technology investments.
• Assess opportunities across payments, banking, lending, WealthTech, InsurTech, RegTech, and embedded finance.
• Develop transformation roadmaps covering technology, operations, products, and customer experience.
• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary transformation initiatives.
• Work with executives, product teams, engineers, data specialists, financial professionals, and operational teams.
• Evaluate third-party technology providers and strategic partnerships.
• Develop executive presentations, market assessments, operating-model designs, and implementation plans.
• Establish KPIs for transformation programs.
• Monitor emerging European fintech trends and technology developments.
• Provide practical recommendations for sustainable growth and digital innovation.
