Position Overview

We are looking for a highly analytical Consultant to advise financial-services organisations on technology transformation, operational modernisation, digital payments, automation, and data-driven business models.

You will work across strategic and implementation-oriented projects, analysing existing financial processes, identifying inefficiencies, designing future-state operating models, and helping organisations execute technology-enabled transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing financial and operational processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and cost optimisation.
• Develop transformation strategies and implementation roadmaps.
• Analyse technology investments and prepare business cases.
• Conduct market and competitor research across European fintech.
• Support digital-payment and banking-platform transformation projects.
• Develop operating models, process maps, and performance frameworks.
• Analyse financial and operational datasets to identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders.
• Prepare management presentations, strategic reports, and transformation documentation.
• Support programme governance and implementation tracking.
• Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to financial services.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in consulting, fintech, banking, technology transformation, or financial services.
• Strong analytical and structured-problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of digital banking, payments, financial operations, or enterprise technology.
• Excellent Excel and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python, or process-modelling tools is advantageous.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
