Role Overview

The Compliance professional will oversee regulatory controls associated with foreign-exchange activities, ensuring that trading, client interactions, transaction monitoring, and operational processes remain aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor FX activities for potential regulatory and policy breaches.
• Review transactions and trading activity for unusual or potentially inappropriate patterns.
• Support implementation of FX-related compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct compliance reviews across trading and treasury functions.
• Assist with regulatory reporting and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with risk, legal, operations, and internal-audit teams.
• Maintain records of compliance reviews, investigations, and remediation activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting foreign-exchange operations.
• Provide compliance guidance to trading and operational personnel.
• Contribute to employee training on market-conduct and financial-market controls.
• Support periodic compliance-risk assessments and control enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Compliance, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial-services compliance, FX, banking, or regulatory risk.
• Strong understanding of financial-market conduct and regulatory-control frameworks.
• Excellent investigative, documentation, and analytical skills.
• CAMS, ICA, CFA, FRM, or comparable professional certification is advantageous.
