JOB SUMMARY

What you’ll actually do and ownReporting to the Head of B2B Supply Europe and North America, your work will directly impact our company-level revenue and profitability. This is what your day-to-day responsibilities would look like:

  • Portfolio management & supplier growth: Negotiate market-leading terms for a dedicated supplier portfolio on a weekly basis, securing the best possible prices and favorable payment terms. You will also identify, qualify, and onboard high-potential supply partners across Europe and North America to help us scale into new and existing product categories.

  • Enhance supplier relationships through best-in-class supplier management, fostering better collaboration and strategic partnerships and a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Direct product margin ownership: Manage the weekly pricing strategies, negotiate payment terms, and optimize purchase volumes to protect and improve gross margins.

  • Quality control at the source: Build device condition standards and return (RMA) agreements directly into commercial contracts, working with our Inbound teams to ensure high quality from day one.

  • Inventory availability: Monitor shipping commitments, proactively solve supply or transport delays, and maintain clean inbound forecasts so our website always has the right stock available.

  • Market intelligence: Function as Swappie’s market intelligence center for your supply segment. You will synthesize pricing trends, competitor behavior, and device availability signals to help the wider commercial organization move faster on strategic pricing decisions.

  • Process improvement: Spot friction points in our daily workflows, ordering tools, or supplier onboarding systems, and suggest simple automations to help the whole team work smarter.

  • Act as a key player in risk management, assessing potential risks associated with new opportunities and developing strategies to mitigate them.

What you’ll bring to the teamSourcing in the electronics market is fast-paced and highly dynamic. We look for a collaborative, autonomous problem solver who is naturally wired to spot a challenge and just fix it while taking true ownership of how their portfolio runs.

  • Experience: You have a couple of years of experience in business development, commercial account management, sales, or strategic sourcing. This should ideally come from short-cycle B2B environments (e.g., consumer electronics, IT equipment, telecom, or fast-moving hardware supply chains).

  • Commercial instinct: You have a proven track record of managing B2B portfolios. You know how to negotiate complex business terms, understand business numbers and know how to connect purchasing decisions directly to inventory health, margin, and cash flow.

  • Relationship & negotiation skills: You are comfortable running structured commercial discussions, navigating high-volume deals, and building genuine, long-term trust with international partners.

  • Analytical execution: You are comfortable working with performance data, pricing signals, and forecasting tools to prioritize your daily workflows and make evidence-based commercial decisions.

  • Mindset: You have a proactive, resilient, and results-oriented approach. You genuinely enjoy closing deals, love learning, and thrive when given high autonomy.

  • Basics: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. A relevant educational background is a plus, but your real-world commercial track record is what matters most to us.
