Role Overview
The Automation Engineer will design and implement automated solutions that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of fintech operations. The position focuses on replacing repetitive manual processes with reliable technology-driven workflows across financial and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify repetitive fintech processes suitable for automation.
• Develop automated workflows for financial operations, reporting, reconciliation, and customer processes.
• Build integrations between internal applications, databases, APIs, and external platforms.
• Develop scripts and automation services using appropriate programming languages.
• Implement automated validation and quality-control mechanisms.
• Monitor automated processes and investigate failures or exceptions.
• Collaborate with operations teams to document existing processes and identify optimization opportunities.
• Work with software engineers to integrate automation into production platforms.
• Develop automated reporting and data-processing workflows.
• Measure the operational benefits and efficiency gains generated by automation.
• Maintain documentation covering automation logic, dependencies, and procedures.
• Continuously evaluate emerging automation technologies relevant to fintech.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in software development, process automation, fintech technology, or business automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, or comparable languages.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, workflow systems, and cloud technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Understanding of financial operations is advantageous.
