Position Overview

The Architect will design sophisticated cloud-native financial infrastructure and API ecosystems supporting interconnected fintech applications, banks, payment platforms, merchants, and digital financial services.

The role requires advanced knowledge of distributed systems, cloud architecture, API management, open finance, financial integrations, cybersecurity, and platform engineering. The successful candidate will establish technology frameworks that allow financial services to communicate securely and efficiently across multiple platforms.

Core Responsibilities

• Design cloud-native architecture for financial technology platforms.
• Establish API strategies for connecting financial applications and external services.
• Develop architecture for open-finance and account-information integrations.
• Design secure communication frameworks between banks, fintech platforms, payment providers, and enterprise applications.
• Establish API gateways, authentication mechanisms, service-mesh patterns, and integration standards.
• Develop scalable microservice and event-driven architectures.
• Define data-exchange and interoperability standards across financial platforms.
• Establish resilience and availability requirements for critical financial services.
• Design cloud infrastructure capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to strengthen API and cloud security.
• Evaluate third-party financial APIs and integration providers.
• Support migration from legacy financial systems to modern cloud-native infrastructure.
• Develop architecture standards covering performance, scalability, security, observability, and disaster recovery.
• Work with software engineers, product managers, data teams, DevOps specialists, and financial-operations professionals.
• Produce detailed architecture specifications, technical diagrams, integration models, and implementation roadmaps.

Candidate Profile
