JOB DESCRIPTION

Group Finance Department is responsible for the Accounting and Taxes processes as well as Financial and Regulatory reporting in Luminor Group, striving to be a reliable service provider and trusted adviser to the organization in areas of our expertise.

The main task for the new Accountant will be to ensure efficient accounting routines for Luminor group entities established in Lithuania in accordance with internal and external regulations, assuring sound accounting data quality.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Handle daily accounting tasks within agreed terms, ensuring complete and accurate accounting data
• Be compliance with internal and external regulations, and regular knowledge update
• Reconcile data and balances between the ledgers and systems
• Prepare various reports and statements
• Participate in monthly closing activities
• Provide support and back-up to other team members
• Actively collaborate with internal and external partners
• Generate ideas and proposing improvements in the responsible area

What Makes You a Great Fit:

• Bachelor`s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or any related field
• Prior working experience in accounting
• Good Accounting and Lithuanian taxes literacy
• Analytical thinking, high level of accuracy
• Responsible, well-organized, and a fast learner
• Great communication skills along with ability being a great team player
• Fluent English and Lithuanian are required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level
