Role Summary

We are seeking a Business Continuity Specialist to support the development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity and operational resilience arrangements across fintech operations.

The successful candidate will assess potential business disruptions, coordinate continuity planning activities, document recovery procedures, and work with relevant departments to improve organisational preparedness.

This position requires an understanding of operational risk, business impact assessments, disaster recovery coordination, and continuity management within technology-dependent financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain business continuity plans for critical fintech operations.

• Conduct business impact assessments to identify essential business functions.

• Evaluate operational dependencies across technology, payment, and financial services.

• Support the identification of potential service disruption scenarios.

• Coordinate business continuity exercises and recovery simulations.

• Review disaster recovery arrangements with IT and infrastructure teams.

• Maintain continuity documentation, emergency procedures, and recovery records.

• Monitor corrective actions identified during continuity testing.

• Support operational resilience assessments and internal risk reviews.

• Coordinate with department representatives to validate recovery requirements.

• Prepare business continuity reports and management updates.

• Review third-party service dependencies and their continuity arrangements.

• Recommend improvements to strengthen operational preparedness and service availability.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience in business continuity, operational resilience, enterprise risk, or disaster recovery.

• Understanding of business impact analysis and continuity planning methodologies.

• Familiarity with ISO 22301 or related business continuity standards.

• Knowledge of technology-dependent business operations and financial services.

• Experience preparing operational procedures, risk assessments, and recovery documentation.

• Strong organisational and project coordination skills.

• Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.

• Ability to coordinate activities across technical and non-technical departments.

• Professional certifications in business continuity or risk management are advantageous.
