Role Summary

The Regulatory Technology Implementation Specialist will coordinate the implementation and configuration of technology solutions designed to support regulatory compliance and financial reporting processes.

The role involves gathering client requirements, documenting regulatory workflows, supporting platform configuration, and coordinating testing activities to ensure that RegTech solutions meet operational expectations.

Working remotely within Estonia, the specialist will collaborate with compliance professionals, software developers, implementation consultants, and financial institution representatives.

The successful candidate will possess a practical understanding of financial regulatory processes and the ability to translate compliance requirements into structured technology workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of regulatory technology platforms for financial services organisations.

• Gather and document client requirements relating to compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.

• Translate regulatory and operational requirements into functional system specifications.

• Assist with configuring compliance workflows and automated reporting features.

• Coordinate with software engineering teams to address technical implementation requirements.

• Support data mapping, validation, and migration activities during system deployment.

• Conduct functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing.

• Review platform outputs to identify inconsistencies in compliance records and regulatory reporting data.

• Maintain implementation documentation, workflow diagrams, and configuration records.

• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve implementation challenges.

• Support training activities and prepare user guidance documentation.

• Monitor implementation progress and communicate project updates.

• Identify opportunities to improve compliance automation and regulatory reporting efficiency.

• Stay informed about relevant developments in European financial services regulation and technology requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Law, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least three years of experience in regulatory technology, compliance operations, financial systems implementation, or business analysis.

• Understanding of financial services compliance and regulatory reporting processes.

• Familiarity with AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, or financial regulatory workflows.

• Knowledge of European financial regulatory frameworks is an advantage.

• Experience gathering requirements and preparing functional documentation.

• Understanding of data mapping, system configuration, and software testing.

• Familiarity with compliance management platforms or financial technology systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination abilities.

• Ability to manage implementation activities independently in a remote environment.
