Role Summary

The Forex Liquidity Operations Analyst will support the operational monitoring of foreign exchange liquidity, trading transactions, and related settlement processes.

The position focuses on analysing liquidity-related data, reviewing execution and settlement records, identifying operational discrepancies, and supporting the efficient coordination of forex trading activities.

Working remotely within Estonia, the analyst will collaborate with trading operations, liquidity providers, finance, and technology teams to maintain accurate operational records and support reliable market connectivity.

This role is suited to a detail-oriented professional with an understanding of foreign exchange markets, trading operations, and financial transaction workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor operational data relating to foreign exchange liquidity, trading activity, and transaction processing.

• Review trade execution records and compare transaction information across trading platforms and liquidity providers.

• Assist with the reconciliation of forex transactions, settlement records, and related financial balances.

• Investigate discrepancies involving execution records, transaction volumes, pricing information, and settlement outcomes.

• Support the monitoring of liquidity provider connectivity and operational service availability.

• Prepare reports covering trading activity, liquidity-related operational indicators, and transaction exceptions.

• Coordinate with trading operations teams to resolve transaction processing and settlement issues.

• Assist with the review of liquidity provider performance and operational service metrics.

• Maintain documentation covering liquidity operations procedures, reconciliation activities, and system workflows.

• Support operational testing of trading platform updates and liquidity connectivity changes.

• Escalate unusual operational activity and unresolved discrepancies through established procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational reporting, transaction monitoring, and workflow efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in Finance, Economics, Financial Markets, Mathematics, or a related field.

• At least two years of experience in forex operations, trading support, financial markets operations, or transaction processing.

• Understanding of foreign exchange markets, currency pairs, trading platforms, and liquidity provider relationships.

• Familiarity with trade reconciliation, settlement workflows, and financial transaction records.

• Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills and the ability to analyse financial data.

• Knowledge of trading systems, liquidity connectivity, or market data platforms is an advantage.

• Understanding of operational risk, transaction monitoring, and financial controls.

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate operational discrepancies.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently within a remote financial markets environment.
