Role Summary

The Forex Liquidity Operations Specialist will support the day-to-day management of liquidity-related processes across foreign exchange trading systems. The role focuses on monitoring liquidity provider connectivity, reviewing execution data, investigating operational discrepancies, and helping maintain stable trading conditions.

The successful candidate will work closely with trading operations, technology, and risk colleagues to identify liquidity-related issues, document findings, and support continuous improvements in execution and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor liquidity provider connections and review the operational status of FX trading channels.

• Track execution-related data, including rejected orders, delayed responses, and unusual trading patterns.

• Investigate discrepancies between trading platform records, liquidity provider reports, and internal transaction data.

• Support the onboarding and testing of new liquidity providers and execution venues.

• Maintain operational records covering liquidity incidents, service interruptions, and corrective actions.

• Coordinate with technical teams when connectivity, pricing, or execution issues require investigation.

• Assist with routine checks of trading system availability and liquidity feed quality.

• Prepare periodic reports on liquidity operations, execution exceptions, and service performance.

• Contribute to the refinement of operational procedures and incident-handling documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in forex operations, trading support, liquidity operations, brokerage operations, or a related financial services role.

• Understanding of FX market structure, currency pairs, trading sessions, and liquidity provider relationships.

• Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes and common execution-related exceptions.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies using structured data.

• Proficiency with spreadsheets and operational reporting tools.

• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical teams.

• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a methodical approach to resolving issues.

• Experience with trading platforms, FIX connectivity, or liquidity aggregation systems is an advantage.
