Role Summary

The Digital Asset Operations Specialist will support the daily operational activities associated with digital asset services, including transaction monitoring, reconciliation, settlement coordination, operational reporting, and exception management. The role is focused on maintaining accurate records and ensuring that digital asset transactions are processed in accordance with established operational procedures.

The successful candidate will work with internal operations, compliance, finance, and technology teams to investigate discrepancies, resolve processing issues, and maintain reliable operational records. This position is appropriate for a detail-oriented professional with an understanding of financial operations and an interest in digital asset infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operational activities relating to digital asset transactions and associated financial services.

• Monitor transaction processing activities and identify unusual delays, incomplete records, or operational exceptions.

• Perform routine reconciliations between internal transaction records, platform balances, and available third-party statements.

• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams to establish the cause of operational differences.

• Maintain accurate records of transaction movements, settlement activities, and operational adjustments.

• Support the processing and verification of digital asset deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and related requests.

• Prepare operational reports covering transaction volumes, processing exceptions, reconciliation outcomes, and outstanding issues.

• Work with compliance specialists to ensure operational activities follow applicable internal controls and regulatory procedures.

• Escalate suspicious or unusual transaction patterns through established internal reporting channels.

• Assist with reviewing operational workflows and identifying opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain clear documentation of daily activities, unresolved cases, and completed operational checks.

• Collaborate with technical teams when system interruptions or platform-related issues affect transaction processing.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Previous experience in financial operations, digital asset operations, payments, banking, or transaction administration.

• Understanding of transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement procedures, and financial recordkeeping.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, digital wallets, blockchain transactions, or digital asset platforms is an advantage.

• Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.

• Ability to investigate discrepancies and manage operational exceptions with accuracy.

• Good knowledge of spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.

• Familiarity with operational risk controls, transaction verification, and compliance procedures.

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple operational tasks.

• Strong written communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with distributed teams.
