Role Summary

The Treasury Systems Implementation Specialist will support the configuration, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement of treasury technology platforms used for financial operations and cash management.

The role involves translating treasury requirements into system configurations, coordinating implementation activities, testing financial workflows, and supporting integrations between treasury applications and external banking systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with treasury professionals, finance teams, software developers, and external technology providers to ensure that financial systems operate accurately and efficiently.

This position requires a combination of financial systems knowledge, implementation experience, and an understanding of treasury processes. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing technical requirements while maintaining a clear understanding of the financial workflows supported by the systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and configuration of treasury management systems and related financial applications.

• Gather and document business requirements from treasury, finance, and financial operations teams.

• Translate cash management, liquidity monitoring, and payment processing requirements into system configurations.

• Coordinate system integrations with banking platforms, payment systems, and financial reporting applications.

• Assist with the configuration of bank account structures, cash positions, and treasury reporting workflows.

• Conduct functional testing to verify the accuracy of treasury system processes.

• Investigate implementation issues involving financial data, payment instructions, account information, and system connectivity.

• Support user acceptance testing and coordinate feedback from treasury and finance stakeholders.

• Prepare implementation documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.

• Work with software vendors and technical teams to resolve system defects and integration challenges.

• Support data migration activities and validate the accuracy of transferred financial information.

• Assist with the development of automated reporting and treasury workflow improvements.

• Monitor system performance following implementation and identify areas requiring optimization.

• Deliver system training and operational guidance to relevant users.

• Contribute to continuous improvements in treasury technology and financial systems administration.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

• At least three years of experience in treasury systems, financial software implementation, or financial technology operations.

• Understanding of treasury management, cash positioning, liquidity reporting, and payment workflows.

• Experience supporting financial system configuration, implementation, or user acceptance testing.

• Familiarity with treasury management systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, or banking applications.

• Knowledge of bank statement processing, financial reconciliation, and payment file formats.

• Understanding of API integrations and financial data exchange is advantageous.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into practical system specifications.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder coordination abilities.

• Experience working with financial software vendors or implementation partners is beneficial.

• Ability to manage implementation tasks independently within a remote working environment.
