Role Overview

We are seeking an Integration Engineer to build and maintain connections between enterprise applications, databases, cloud services, and third-party platforms. You will play an important role in ensuring that business-critical information moves accurately and securely between systems.

Working closely with software developers, business analysts, IT operations teams, and external technology providers, you will translate business requirements into dependable integration solutions. The successful candidate will be comfortable troubleshooting complex data flows and improving integration reliability across a diverse technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between CRM, ERP, finance, customer service, and internal business systems.
• Develop API-based integrations using REST, SOAP, webhooks, and other relevant communication protocols.
• Build and maintain data transformation, mapping, validation, and synchronisation processes.
• Work with integration platforms, middleware, message brokers, and workflow automation tools.
• Develop scripts and services using languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript to support integration requirements.
• Implement appropriate error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, alerting, and recovery procedures.
• Investigate data inconsistencies, failed transactions, connectivity issues, and integration performance problems.
• Support event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging where appropriate.
• Maintain integration specifications, system diagrams, operational runbooks, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess technical feasibility, and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
• Support integration testing, release management, and ongoing production maintenance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing and supporting integrations between business applications or software platforms.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOAP services, JSON, XML, webhooks, and data transformation.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SQL databases, data mapping, data validation, and troubleshooting distributed workflows.
• Experience with middleware, iPaaS solutions, enterprise service buses, or message brokers is an advantage.
• Understanding of authentication, access controls, secure data transfer, and sensitive information handling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English; Estonian language skills are beneficial.
