Position Overview

We are seeking a capable Fintech Integration Specialist to support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of technology solutions connecting financial applications, payment services, banking platforms, and external service providers. The successful candidate will help ensure that integrations operate reliably, financial data moves accurately between systems, and technical issues are resolved efficiently.

This role is suited to a technically minded professional who understands APIs, system interoperability, and financial technology workflows. You will collaborate with software developers, product teams, implementation specialists, and external partners to deliver dependable integrations that support business operations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain integrations between fintech applications, payment gateways, banking systems, and third-party platforms.

• Configure REST APIs, webhooks, authentication mechanisms, and data exchange workflows.

• Investigate integration failures, transaction discrepancies, connectivity problems, and data inconsistencies.

• Conduct integration testing and validate transaction flows before production deployment.

• Work with development teams to diagnose technical defects and improve system interoperability.

• Maintain integration documentation, configuration records, technical specifications, and troubleshooting procedures.

• Monitor integration performance and escalate recurring issues that could affect transaction processing.

• Support secure data transmission and appropriate handling of sensitive financial information.

• Coordinate technical implementation activities with external vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to improvements in deployment procedures, monitoring, and integration reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• Two or more years of experience in software integration, API implementation, technical support, or financial technology.

• Practical understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols, webhooks, and authentication standards.

• Familiarity with SQL databases, Git, Postman, and application troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of payment processing, banking integrations, or financial transaction workflows.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate technical problems systematically.

• Clear written communication skills and the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation.

• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Open Banking APIs, or PSD2-related integrations is an advantage.
