Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Forex Operations Specialist to support the daily operational activities of a foreign exchange trading business. The successful candidate will help ensure that client transactions, account records, trading-related documentation, and internal processes are handled accurately and efficiently.

This role is suited to a professional who understands financial operations, values accuracy, and can coordinate effectively with customer support, compliance, finance, and trading teams. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to reliable brokerage operations while maintaining high standards of documentation, service quality, and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and monitor foreign exchange transactions in accordance with internal procedures.

• Review transaction records, account information, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.

• Assist with trade confirmations, settlement coordination, payment tracking, and transaction reconciliation.

• Investigate operational discrepancies and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams.

• Maintain accurate records of client instructions, transaction activity, and operational incidents.

• Coordinate with customer support and compliance teams on account-related queries and documentation requirements.

• Support daily operational reporting and identify recurring processing errors.

• Follow established controls for client data protection, transaction handling, and record retention.

• Contribute to improvements in workflow efficiency and operational reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Two or more years of experience in financial operations, brokerage administration, payments, or a similar role.

• Understanding of foreign exchange markets, currency pairs, transaction processing, and settlement workflows.

• Good working knowledge of spreadsheets and financial recordkeeping systems.

• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and numerical accuracy.

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and meet operational deadlines.

• Familiarity with AML/KYC procedures and financial services controls is an advantage.
