About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised Fintech Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day delivery of digital financial services in a fast-moving technology environment. This role sits at the intersection of fintech operations, payments, customer processes, transaction monitoring, and internal systems.

The successful candidate will help ensure that financial workflows are processed accurately, operational issues are resolved efficiently, and service standards remain consistently high across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and monitor daily fintech transactions, account activities, and operational requests.
• Review payment exceptions, failed transactions, refunds, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate operational records and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate with compliance, customer support, technology, and finance teams when issues require escalation.
• Assist with onboarding and verification processes in accordance with internal procedures.
• Identify recurring operational issues and recommend practical process improvements.
• Support transaction reconciliation and investigate discrepancies between internal systems and payment providers.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate dashboards.
• Follow established procedures relating to data protection, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the testing and implementation of new fintech processes and platform features.

Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in fintech, banking, payments, financial operations, or a related technology environment.
• Strong understanding of digital payments and financial transaction workflows.
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Comfortable working with operational platforms, spreadsheets, databases, and digital financial systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience in the European fintech environment is an advantage.
