A technology-driven fintech environment in Estonia is looking for a Blockchain Infrastructure Engineer to support secure, resilient and highly available blockchain infrastructure.

This is an individual-contributor engineering position for someone interested in the operational side of distributed ledger technology rather than purely application-level development.

Core Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain blockchain nodes across production environments.
• Configure monitoring and observability for distributed ledger infrastructure.
• Automate node deployment, upgrades and operational processes.
• Monitor blockchain network performance and availability.
• Investigate synchronization, connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code for repeatable blockchain environments.
• Maintain secure key-management and access-control practices.
• Support integration between blockchain infrastructure and fintech applications.
• Monitor network changes and assess their technical implications.
• Develop operational tooling using appropriate scripting or programming languages.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and recovery procedures.
• Participate in technical reviews concerning reliability and security.

Technical Requirements

• Professional experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Practical Infrastructure-as-Code experience, preferably Terraform.
• Familiarity with blockchain node infrastructure and distributed systems.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting platforms.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python, Go, Bash or similar.
• Understanding of networking and security principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-analysis skills.

Blockchain Knowledge

Experience with one or more blockchain ecosystems, node clients, RPC infrastructure, wallet infrastructure or blockchain data services will be valuable.

A strong understanding of distributed systems, consensus concepts, cryptographic fundamentals and blockchain network operations is preferred.
