An international fintech environment in Estonia is seeking a Digital Banking Systems Analyst to bridge business requirements, financial processes and technology implementation.

This is a hands-on specialist role focused on understanding how digital banking products operate, identifying system requirements and helping technical teams deliver reliable financial services.

The Role

You will analyse existing banking workflows, translate operational requirements into clear technical specifications and investigate system behaviour across account, payment and transaction platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements for digital banking and financial-service applications.
• Document functional and technical requirements for new product capabilities.
• Map customer, payment and account workflows.
• Translate business processes into structured system specifications.
• Investigate application issues and determine their functional impact.
• Work with developers and QA specialists during implementation.
• Define acceptance criteria and support functional testing.
• Analyse transaction and account-related system behaviour.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend evidence-based improvements.
• Maintain detailed product and system documentation.
• Support release validation and post-deployment analysis.
• Ensure requirements remain aligned across product and engineering teams.

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a systems analyst, business analyst, product analyst or similar technology-focused specialist.
• Understanding of digital banking, payments or financial applications.
• Strong requirements-gathering and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with APIs, databases and software-development lifecycles.
• Ability to interpret technical concepts and financial processes.
• Experience working with Agile development environments.
• SQL knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent professional English.
