A technology-led financial services environment in Estonia is seeking a Fintech Compliance Technology Specialist to strengthen the systems, workflows, and data capabilities supporting regulatory compliance.

The role sits between compliance and technology, helping transform regulatory requirements into efficient digital controls, automated processes, monitoring capabilities, and reliable compliance data.

The Role at a Glance

You will collaborate with compliance officers, engineers, product teams, data specialists, risk professionals, and operations teams to improve how regulatory requirements are implemented across financial technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into functional technology requirements.
  • Support the design and improvement of automated compliance workflows.
  • Analyse customer, transaction, and operational data used for compliance monitoring.
  • Work with technology teams to implement appropriate monitoring and control mechanisms.
  • Support improvements to onboarding, customer due diligence, transaction monitoring, and regulatory-reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual compliance activities.
  • Assist with compliance-system testing, control validation, and process documentation.
  • Investigate data-quality issues affecting compliance processes.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms for compliance and risk teams.
  • Support system changes arising from regulatory or business requirements.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing for compliance technology initiatives.
  • Maintain clear documentation covering requirements, workflows, controls, and system changes.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in fintech, banking, compliance technology, financial crime technology, business analysis, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of digital financial services and regulatory processes.
  • Experience working with compliance systems, financial-data platforms, workflow tools, or monitoring technologies.
  • Strong analytical and process-mapping skills.
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, data analysis, or automation technologies.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical technical solutions.
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder-management capabilities.
  • Strong professional English.
