As blockchain technology becomes increasingly integrated with financial services, organizations require professionals who can bridge on-chain technology, regulatory frameworks, transaction monitoring, and operational risk.

We are seeking a Blockchain Risk & Compliance Specialist to strengthen controls around digital assets, blockchain transactions, and emerging financial technologies.

Position Overview

You will analyze blockchain-related risks, develop control frameworks, support compliance operations, and work with technology teams to ensure that digital-asset products are designed with appropriate governance and monitoring mechanisms.

The role is particularly suited to someone who understands both the technical characteristics of blockchain networks and the operational requirements of modern financial compliance.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop risk and compliance frameworks for blockchain and digital-asset activities.
• Analyze on-chain transaction patterns and identify potential risk indicators.
• Support blockchain transaction monitoring and investigation processes.
• Assess risks associated with wallets, counterparties, smart contracts, tokenized assets, and blockchain infrastructure.
• Collaborate with AML, KYC, cybersecurity, legal, and product teams.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical technology and operational controls.
• Review blockchain product designs from a governance and risk perspective.
• Maintain risk registers, control documentation, and compliance procedures.
• Monitor developments affecting European digital-asset regulation and blockchain services.
• Prepare clear risk assessments and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal policies governing digital assets and blockchain operations.

Candidate Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in financial compliance, risk management, AML, fintech, digital assets, or a closely related field.
• Practical understanding of blockchain transactions and wallet structures.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency tracing, transaction monitoring, or blockchain analytics.
• Knowledge of AML/KYC principles and European financial-services regulatory frameworks.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to communicate technical blockchain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with blockchain analytics or compliance platforms is an advantage.
