Executive Opportunity

An established financial technology organisation in Estonia is seeking a Digital Finance Transformation Director to lead complex transformation programmes across technology, operations, customer experience, and financial infrastructure.

This is a strategic leadership appointment for an individual capable of managing large-scale change while maintaining operational stability. The successful candidate will create transformation strategies, establish delivery governance, align senior stakeholders, and ensure that technology investments produce tangible business value.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise-wide digital transformation programmes across financial services.
• Develop transformation roadmaps covering platforms, operating models, automation, data, customer journeys, and financial infrastructure.
• Identify inefficient processes and redesign them using technology, automation, and intelligent workflows.
• Lead major technology and operational transformation initiatives from business case through implementation.
• Establish programme governance, milestones, performance indicators, budgets, and risk-management frameworks.
• Coordinate executives, product leaders, engineering teams, operations, finance, compliance, and external technology partners.
• Assess legacy platforms and develop pragmatic modernisation strategies.
• Champion API-first, cloud-native, automated, and data-driven operating models.
• Ensure transformation initiatives meet security, resilience, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Measure transformation outcomes through efficiency gains, cost optimisation, revenue impact, customer experience, and operational performance.
• Build organisational readiness for new platforms, processes, and digital operating models.
• Present transformation progress, investment requirements, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Executive Profile

• 10+ years of experience in digital transformation, fintech, banking technology, consulting, or complex technology environments.
• Demonstrated leadership of enterprise-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of digital banking, payments, financial platforms, cloud technology, data, and automation.
• Excellent programme, financial, commercial, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple business and technology functions.
• Strong understanding of governance, operational resilience, cybersecurity, and regulatory considerations.
• Exceptional executive communication and strategic decision-making skills.
