Modernise the connections between fintech platforms, banking infrastructure, and financial services.

We are looking for an experienced Core Banking Integration Specialist to lead the design and implementation of integrations between modern fintech platforms and core banking systems. This is a technically demanding position focused on account services, transaction processing, customer data, banking APIs, and reliable financial-system connectivity.

You will work closely with engineering, product, operations, security, and compliance teams to ensure that critical banking integrations are scalable, secure, observable, and operationally resilient.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations between fintech platforms and core banking systems.
• Develop secure APIs and services for account, customer, transaction, and balance data.
• Integrate internal platforms with banking-as-a-service and third-party financial infrastructure.
• Analyse existing banking interfaces and identify opportunities for modernization.
• Build reliable event-driven integrations for real-time financial workflows.
• Define integration standards covering authentication, error handling, monitoring, and data validation.
• Investigate and resolve complex integration and transaction-processing issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ensure integrations meet applicable security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and integration specifications.
• Support migration from legacy banking interfaces toward modern API-based infrastructure.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in software integration, banking technology, fintech engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, event-driven architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Practical knowledge of banking platforms, financial transactions, account services, or payment infrastructure.
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, C#, Go, or comparable technologies.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD practices.
• Understanding of authentication technologies, encryption, API security, and service monitoring.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
