You will work closely with risk, compliance, fraud, product, engineering, and data teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse transactional and customer datasets to identify financial and operational risks.
  • Develop analytical models and reporting frameworks for fraud, transaction risk, and portfolio performance.
  • Identify anomalies, behavioural patterns, and emerging risk indicators.
  • Build dashboards and management reports that provide clear visibility into key risk metrics.
  • Support the development and refinement of automated risk-scoring methodologies.
  • Investigate complex data-driven cases and provide evidence-based recommendations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data teams to improve data quality and analytical infrastructure.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
  • Monitor risk trends and evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls.
  • Contribute to strategic risk and data initiatives across the fintech organisation.

Candidate Profile

You should have a strong analytical background and the ability to work confidently with large and complex datasets.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Several years of experience in data analytics, financial risk, fraud analytics, fintech, banking, or a related discipline.
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience with analytical tools or programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, analytical models, or risk indicators.
  • Understanding of financial transactions, payment flows, fraud patterns, or financial risk.
  • Strong statistical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and investigative thinking.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

The Impact

Your analysis will directly contribute to stronger financial controls, smarter risk decisions, and safer digital financial services. The role offers broad exposure across fintech, data science, financial risk, fraud technology, and digital banking, making it particularly suitable for an experienced analyst looking to operate at a high level.
