We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Banking Risk Manager to strengthen risk management across a portfolio of modern digital financial products.

The successful candidate will combine financial-services risk expertise with a strong understanding of digital banking, payments, technology operations, and data-driven risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain risk frameworks covering digital banking products, payment services, and financial operations.
• Identify, assess, and monitor emerging operational, transactional, technology, and financial risks.
• Establish risk indicators, thresholds, monitoring procedures, and escalation mechanisms.
• Analyse transaction and operational data to identify unusual patterns and potential areas of exposure.
• Work closely with fraud, compliance, cybersecurity, product, technology, and finance teams.
• Assess new products and major product changes from a risk perspective before implementation.
• Review existing controls and identify opportunities to strengthen risk mitigation.
• Coordinate risk assessments for technology platforms, third-party providers, and critical financial processes.
• Prepare senior-management reporting covering material risks, trends, incidents, and remediation activities.
• Support business-continuity and operational-resilience initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of risk policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.

Candidate Profile

• 6+ years of experience in banking risk, fintech risk, operational risk, payments, financial services, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of digital banking and financial-technology environments.
• Experience developing risk frameworks, controls, monitoring processes, and management reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret complex operational and financial data.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication capabilities.
• Experience working within regulated European financial services is highly advantageous.
