Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Architect to design scalable financial technology ecosystems connecting banking platforms, payment services, financial-data providers, and third-party applications.

This role will focus on developing secure and resilient architectures for open banking, API-driven financial services, payment connectivity, and digital account infrastructure. The successful candidate will combine technical depth with an understanding of financial workflows and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design enterprise architecture for open-banking and fintech platforms.
• Define scalable API strategies and integration frameworks.
• Architect secure connections between banks, payment providers, and fintech applications.
• Establish standards for authentication, authorisation, encryption, and data exchange.
• Evaluate cloud, microservices, event-driven, and distributed-system architectures.
• Lead technical architecture reviews and design workshops.
• Develop integration strategies for third-party financial services.
• Identify architectural risks and establish mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, cybersecurity, compliance, and operations teams.
• Produce architecture documentation, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Support engineering teams throughout complex platform-development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software architecture, banking technology, payments, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and microservices.
• Understanding of financial-data security and digital-payment architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or comparable technologies is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and architectural-design capabilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
