Cybersecurity Consultant – Digital Infrastructure & Technology

A technology-driven organisation in Estonia is seeking a capable Cybersecurity Consultant to help strengthen information security across digital platforms, corporate systems, cloud environments, and technology operations.

As businesses increasingly depend on interconnected systems, cloud services, APIs, digital applications, and large-scale data environments, the ability to identify and manage cyber risks has become fundamental. In this position, you will help organisations understand their security exposure and develop practical measures to improve resilience.

You will collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, compliance professionals, and management to assess security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and support the implementation of stronger security practices.

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct cybersecurity assessments across systems and business processes.
• Identify vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and potential security risks.
• Review security controls and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Support security audits, risk assessments, and remediation programmes.
• Assist with incident-response planning and security investigations.
• Evaluate cloud, application, network, and endpoint security controls.
• Develop security documentation, reports, and management recommendations.
• Monitor emerging cyber threats and assess their potential business impact.
• Work with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve security architecture.
• Support security awareness and internal cybersecurity initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of practical information-security standards.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should have strong analytical and investigative abilities, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of modern cybersecurity principles. Experience with cloud security, vulnerability management, network security, identity management, SIEM, incident response, security frameworks, or application security would be beneficial.

Experience in fintech, banking, software, telecommunications, e-commerce, consulting, cloud technology, or other digital industries is welcome. The position is particularly suited to someone who wants to combine technical expertise, business risk management, and strategic cybersecurity.
