Role Description

We’re looking for a Head of Operations and Resources of R&D who will ensure that our R&D function runs efficiently, predictably, and according to schedule.

Capabilities and experience

• Degree in life sciences (Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, or similar)
• 3+ years of experience in team leadership and coordination of scientific or technical work
• Excellent written and verbal English skills (minimum C1)
• Experience working in resource planning, capacity management, and workload coordination
• Ability to build, implement, and optimise processes and systems
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

Key responsibilities

•  Lead, manage, and develop the R&D team
• Build, implement, and continuously improve R&D processes, workflows, and ways of working
•  Implement and maintain resource and capacity planning across R&D (personnel, labs, equipment)
•  Ensure availability and proper functioning of laboratories, equipment, and infrastructure
• Align R&D activities with project timelines in close collaboration with project management office
