About the role
What will you be doing?
• Research target accounts and key decision-makers to personalise outreach beyond the template. • Execute structured outbound campaigns targeting curated account lists defined jointly with Marketing, combining email, phone, and LinkedIn sequencing into cohesive multi-touch plays. • Book and hand off qualified discovery calls to Account Executives, with clear context on the prospect’s company, use case interest, and readiness. • Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaign planning, messaging iteration, and ICP refinement — you’re a contributor to strategy, not just execution. • Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM so pipeline data is always clean and trustworthy. • Report weekly on pipeline contribution: calls booked, calls accepted by AEs, and qualified opportunities created. • Surface patterns from conversations; what resonates, what objections recur, which industries engage most, to sharpen how Messente goes to market
You’ll be thriving in this role if you:
• 1–2+ years in a B2B SDR, BDR, or inside sales role — you know what a pipeline qualification process looks like and have hit targets before. • Strong written and verbal communication in English; you write clearly, concisely, and without clichés. • Comfortable with outbound prospecting tools — whether that’s Apollo, Outreach, HubSpot sequences, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar. • Organised and self-directed: you can manage 50–100 accounts in flight simultaneously without dropping the ball. • Resilient and curious: you take “no” as useful data, not just rejection.
Nice to have:
• Experience selling or prospecting into financial services, logistics, or SaaS companies • Familiarity with messaging, CPaaS, or developer-tool products (SMS APIs, 2FA, notification infrastructure).
