In this role, you will become an integral part of the high performing Baltic Risk Management team.

Your responsibilities would include:
  • Support business units in identifying and mitigating risks, assessing their impact, developing mitigation measures, and monitoring the effectiveness of implemented controls;

  • Support business units in implementing and using risk management tools, provide risk analysis of business unit activities, trends, incidents and KRIs;

  • Assist business units in conducting risk assessment processes and developing business continuity plans;

  • Organize necessary trainings for business units to promote a strong risk culture and sustainable risk‑return thinking;

  • Develop risk management function processes;

  • Drive risk related strategic initiatives and lead/participate in risk related projects;

  • Facilitate cooperation across the SEB Baltics and Group, coordinate with risk owners and other stakeholders to integrate risks awareness into daily activities;

  • Collaborate with the Control and Audit functions to design and refine methodologies and tools for measuring and monitoring risks

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • Previous experience in risk management and/or in financial and banking industry is seen as preference, or genuine interest in risk management area;

  • A higher degree in finance, mathematics, statistics, or a closely related quantitative field;

  • Proactive mindset with the ability to drive improvements and lead initiatives;

  • Ability to coordinate and motivate stakeholders to contribute to a common goal, and to take responsibility;

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ownership mindset;

  • Great communication skills and fluency in Estonian and English.
