About the role

This role builds on operational coordination by adding project ownership, cross-store impact, and continuous improvement responsibilities. The Specialist is expected to go beyond execution and actively identify and implement changes that improve performance, efficiency, and scalability.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Ensure store operations follow SOPs, including picking & packing, goods acceptance, returns, expiry checks, and inventory counts.
Maintain compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards, conduct regular audits, and proactively identify areas for operational improvement across stores.
Support the training and onboarding of store staff, provide guidance and performance feedback to picker teams, help resolve operational challenges, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
Plan shifts according to operational needs and budget requirements, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, support pickers during shifts when needed, and handle urgent operational matters proactively.
Approve supplier invoices, manage product returns, coordinate with suppliers and store teams to resolve issues, request credit notes when necessary, and follow up on open operational topics to ensure timely resolution.
Act as the main operational point of contact between stores and cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Commercial, and other Bolt stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration on daily operational matters. Own and lead operational improvement initiatives impacting multiple stores or markets, including scheduling optimization, picker productivity, inventory processes, and store efficiency.

About you:

Previous experience in retail, warehouse, store operations, or other hands-on operational environments, with exposure to fast-paced day-to-day operations.
Experience coordinating shifts, leading daily operations, and supporting or managing teams in an operational setting.
Strong understanding of store operations processes, including picking, stock handling, inventory management, and operational compliance standards.
Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership, able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and proactively solve operational challenges.
Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret and present data, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken.
Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work across different stores based on business needs and support occasional operational urgencies when required
