We are looking for a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance analysis, forecasting, and business decision-making. This role offers an opportunity for a commercially minded professional to work with financial data and transform complex information into clear insights that support sustainable business performance.

The Role

The Financial Analyst will analyze financial and operational information, prepare management reports, contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, and evaluate business performance.

Working closely with finance and business teams, you will help identify trends, assess financial opportunities and risks, and provide evidence-based recommendations to support management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial analysis, management reports, and performance summaries.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial-planning processes.
• Analyze revenue, expenditure, margins, costs, and profitability.
• Investigate financial variances and provide explanations for significant movements.
• Develop financial models to support planning and business decisions.
• Monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
• Conduct scenario analysis and evaluate potential business outcomes.
• Assist with investment, pricing, cost-management, and commercial assessments.
• Work with accounting and operational teams to validate financial information.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Improve financial reporting processes and analytical methodologies.
• Maintain high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, and financial governance.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial information within a broader commercial context. You should be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

The ability to communicate financial findings clearly to senior and non-technical audiences will be particularly important.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in financial analysis, management accounting, corporate finance, or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel or spreadsheet-modeling capabilities.
• Experience with financial reporting or business intelligence tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of accuracy and professional integrity.
