How You Will Make an Impact:
- Develop solutions for card-related systems, spanning third-party integrations and in-house platforms
- Ensure compliance with key financial regulations: PCI DSS, PSD2, Basel III, IFRS, AML/KYC, and GDPR
- Help design and analyze scalable, high-performance applications for banking and financial services
- Collaborate and drive cross team communication between core banking systems, payment platforms, and customer-facing channels
- Implement cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment
- Explore AI/ML models to enhance fraud detection, risk analysis, and customer insights
- Ensure system resilience with high availability, low-latency performance, and disaster recovery strategies
- Apply security best practices including data encryption, identity management, and fraud prevention
- Optimize databases and data pipelines for real-time financial processing
- Collaborate with Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban) to deliver iterative, impactful solutions
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decision-making
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Experience working with the Tieto Card Suite or experience working within the Card Issuing Domain
- Understanding of AWS – experience here is a strong asset for building scalable, cloud-based architecture
- Hands-on experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) to support secure transaction workflows and data protection
- Prior collaboration with Visa is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Java is a plus
- Strong grasp of the SDLC and its practical application
- Proficiency in data structures, flow diagrams, programming logic, and coding standards
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
- Demonstrated experience in banking IT systems is a major advantage
- Fluent English is required in spoken and written communication due to working on the Pan-Baltic level
