About the role

This role is designed for someone who can turn loose ideas into lines that stick — and stories that actually move people. As a Senior Creative Copywriter, you’ll create copy that doesn’t just decorate design but gives it direction. You’ll be the throughline connecting visuals, strategy, and storytelling, making sure every line, from a homepage hero to a push notification, feels unmistakably Bolt. Reporting to the Head of Creative Content, you’ll help define what great writing looks like at Bolt — and have the backing to uphold that standard. You’ll lead concept development, copywriting, and creative direction across product campaigns, digital ads, landing pages, and lifecycle marketing. You’ll partner closely with Brand Design, Web, Performance Marketing, and Strategy to turn bold ideas into cohesive creative. And with the help of editors, copywriters, content creators, and a content strategist, you’ll be part of the team shaping the voice of a globally recognised brand.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Write and edit copy in Bolt’s tone and voice, knowing how to strike the right balance between brand consistency and originality.
Creatively direct campaigns from idea to execution, making sure your taglines and messaging carry across multiple channels and mediums.
Partner cross-functionally with other Brand and Marketing teams as someone fluent in both creative and business speak.
Help develop and maintain Bolt’s brand guidelines, messaging frameworks, and copy systems to ensure alignment across global teams and markets.
Mentor other in-house writers by offering constructive feedback, inspiration, and support to elevate their work.
Champion creative excellence by staying ahead of cultural trends, language shifts, and platform storytelling techniques.

About you:

You feel right at home in dynamic environments — think tech scale-ups, digital agencies, or global brands — where things move fast, and ideas turn into action.
Your portfolio demonstrates a proven track record of creative direction for campaigns on a global scale.
You have exceptional storytelling skills and a refined understanding of tone, rhythm, and brand voice.
You’re not afraid to present ideas, give feedback, and direct other creatives.
Working with design tools (i.e. Figma) doesn’t scare you. And emerging AI tools that can enhance, not replace, the creative process excite you.
