We’re looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our People team.

In this role, you will…

  • Manage the Finnish payroll while supervising global payroll processing through Remote.

  • Partner with our US-based People Operations Specialist to provide day-to-day HR support for employees and managers worldwide.

  • Manage benefits administration and ensure policies, processes, and documentation run smoothly across the employee lifecycle.

  • Implement process improvements and support compliance with local and global regulations.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities include…

  • Running monthly Finnish payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and coordinating payroll across global entities.

  • Liaising with Finance and payroll vendors on changes, reconciliations, and reporting.

  • Responding to employee and manager queries via the Jira HR ticketing system.

  • Supporting onboarding cohorts and offboarding processes to ensure smooth employee transitions.

  • Managing accurate employee records in our HRIS (HiBob) and overseeing time and attendance administration.

  • Administering benefits (healthcare, insurance, allowances), acting as the point of contact for employees and providers.

  • Communicating and promoting benefits programs to increase employee awareness.

  • Conducting audits of HR processes and documentation, and maintaining policies aligned with company objectives.

  • Ensuring compliance with employment law and escalating complex cases when needed.

This position is for you if you have…

  • 2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR, or a similar role in a global environment.

  • Thorough understanding of Finnish payroll practices, along with experience in global payroll coordination.

  • Experience administering employee benefits and working with HRIS systems (HiBob) and ticketing tools (Jira a plus).

  • Comfort with policies, compliance requirements, and audits.

  • A service-minded, organised, and detail-oriented approach with a motivated “can-do” attitude.

  • Effective communication skills in English and the ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, collaborative setting.
