About the role
Join our Legal team as our Digital & Data Compliance Specialist / IT Contract Lawyer. In this dual-impact role, your expertise in AI and GDPR will be fundamental: you will actively participate in shaping our compliance strategy, from our product roadmap to reinforcing client trust, alongside our VP Legal & DPO. In parallel, you will drive EMEA contract negotiations under the mentorship of your coach, the EMEA Senior Legal Counsel. A key focus of your mission will be supporting our expansion in the German market, where your data expertise will be a critical asset for our success.
You will be part of an international squad where your scope naturally extends beyond Europe, offering you a unique 360° perspective on global legal challenges.

You won’t be stuck in a back-office role; you’ll be our internal and client-facing go-to person for Data Protection and AI, while also learning to close strategic deals across EMEA.

Get up to speed on 360Learning’s product features, specifically the AI roadmap, and our Convexity culture.

Review our GDPR/AI documentation and current compliance programs.

Establish a strong partnership with the AI Squad to understand their development challenges and product compliance needs.

Meet our Head of Security to understand how our privacy and security protocols work together.

Start shadowing our EMEA Senior Legal Counsel on contract reviews for the French market.

Actively contribute to updating the GDPR/IA Act compliance program and maintaining our internal registries.

Handle first-level reviews of French Saas contracts under the close supervision of our EMEA Senior Legal Counsel.

Start shadowing our EMEA Senior Legal Counsel on contract reviews for the German market.

Act as the primary legal point of contact for clients’ privacy and AI questionnaires, working closely with the Security team to ensure consistency.

Lead the implementation of AI Act and Data Act requirements within our internal processes and product documentation.

Take full ownership of Saas contract negotiations for the French market.

Start taking on autonomous negotiations for the German market and other European regions.

Provide reliable legal guidance to the AI Squad, Security team and Sales teams on data protection and AI compliance issues.

Start assisting on German market compliance and contract specifics to support our regional growth. Autonomously negotiate and close international SaaS contracts across Europe.

Start supporting North American legal matters and compliance, adapting our data privacy approach to the US market.

Proactively refine our global privacy strategy and anticipate regulatory shifts to maintain 360Learning’s position as a leader.

3 to 4 years of experience as a Legal Counsel within a tech company, or a large corporation’s procurement/IT legal division.

Proven track record in Data Privacy within a digital context.

Familiar with the GDPR and have a strong interest in emerging regulations like the AI Act and Data Act.

Experience reviewing and negotiating IT/SaaS contracts.

BtoB environment Background in vendor/procurement legal reviews for large-scale digital projects is a plusProfessional certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM (IAPP), or specialized AI/Data Ethics certifications are highly regarded.

You are a “Deal Architect”—you focus on enabling the business while ensuring high compliance standards.

You enjoy collaborative work with technical squads and security expertise

Fluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR). German or spanish knowledge is a plus
