Your role in this mission: As BI & Data Engineer you will design, build, and govern our data warehouse and pipelines, ensuring clean, accessible, and secure data for analytics, AI enablement, and operational reporting. You’ll work hands-on with SQL, ELT/ETL, dbt, and modern data platforms while supporting leadership with metrics, insights, and scalable data workflows.

🎯 What you will doWe’re looking for a technical, execution-focused data lead who can transform multiple systems into a reliable, governed, and AI-ready data foundation.

Data foundation & modeling:

• Build and maintain a secure data warehouse with dimensional modeling (facts/dims) and well-defined metrics.

• Define and implement incremental models and transformation pipelines as code (dbt preferred).

ETL / ELT pipelines:

• Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion pipelines from HubSpot, activity sources, and transcripts using Airbyte, Fivetran, or equivalent.

• Ensure high reliability, error handling, and automated monitoring.

Governance & security:

• Implement RBAC, least privilege access, and proper PII handling.

• Audit and maintain data access to minimize risk, especially for AI-driven applications.

Activation & operational outputs:

• Enable actionable insights by pushing metrics, scores, and summaries back into operational systems (e.g., HubSpot).

• Partner with teams to support reporting, analytics, and agentic workflows safely.

Execution & delivery:

• Deliver MVPs quickly (weeks, not months) and iterate in waves for continuous improvement.

• Balance technical execution with business impact, prioritizing high-value initiatives.

⭐ What you need to succeed

• Strong SQL and data modeling skills (facts/dims, metrics definitions, incremental models)

• ELT/ETL experience using modern pipelines (Airbyte, Fivetran, or equivalent)

• Transformation as code experience (dbt strongly preferred)

• Data governance & security experience (RBAC, least privilege, PII handling, AI blast radius awareness)

• Experience with modern data warehouse / AI platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Vertex, Gemini, Claude, etc.)

• Delivery mindset: can ship MVPs fast, iterate, and scale

• Awareness of activation patterns: write-back/operational outputs

Nice-to-have: Python or scripting experience for lightweight automation and transformations, BI tools exposure (Tableau, Power BI), familiarity with AI agent workflows.
